The Merry Band at L.A.'s Mystery Bookstore

Merry Band authors Don Bruns, Jim Fusilli, and Nathan Walpow made music and signed books at the Mystery Bookstore in Los Angeles on January 13, 2007.

Don Bruns, who co-edited the book with Claudia Bishop, explains its many virtues. That's Jim Fusilli on the left and Nathan Walpow on the right.

The three author/musicians played four songs. Don sang Peter Robinson's "The Ferryman's Beautiful Daughter," Jim sang his "It's Too Late to Cry," and Don returned for his own "Stories." Then ...

... the boys did Nathan's "Be My Poodle," with a hot guitar solo by Jim and vocals by Nathan and his wife Andrea Cohen (as on the CD accompanying the anthology).
